Earlier this year ASICS and Foot Locker teamed up with PENSOLE academy creating the “Fueling the Future of Footwear” master classes, which challenges young design talents to come up with new footwear concepts for a chance to release a design through Foot Locker. After a long and arduous process a winner has been chosen by PENSOLE founder Dwayne Edwards. The ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Pensole Reflect” is limited to 300 pairs worldwide and will hit Foot Locker locations on September 17th. Check the retailer’s Launch Locator for specific locations and head over to Foot Locker’s YouTube page for an in-depth look into the design process behind the shoe.
Asics takes us to the French riviera with a pair dedicated to his colorful landscape with this great Asics Gel Lyte V Lavender.

Today Asics comeback with a new Gel Lyte V inspired by the lavender fields of the south of France with a pair that featured a full-lavender colorway on his entire premium suede upper associated with a clean light tan heel which also introduces a great embroidered branding.
The Asics Gel Lyte V Lavender is now available at selected retailers worldwide like Sneakers’n’stuff, END, Slam Jam and also at Sneaker Politics for 149€.
The ASICS GEL-Kayano is as dependable as any silhouette for your everyday beaters, and this latest “Concrete Grey” rendition makes it all the more suited for pounding the pavement. Clad in a dark grey suede upper, the sneaker features a tonal lace cage and heel components, while a light grey midsole breaks up the monotony. The ASICS GEL-Kayano “Concrete Grey” is now available online from Solebox for €130 EUR (approximately $145 USD).
ASICS has brought forth its Gel-Kayano silhouette for a crispy makeover dubbed “Moon Crater.” Taking obvious inspiration from our lunar planet, the Gel-Kayano takes on a clean, cream white color palette, starting off with a yellowish tint on the shoe’s supportive cage overlay, designed with ASICS stripes in mind. Off-white suede is then used throughout the upper’s panels, with perforation to keep things cool. Leather continues into the inner lining, which gets a minty teal hit. Overall, the ASICS Gel-Kayana “Moon Crater” is a clean and subtle choice for the summer, and retails for €130 EUR (approximately $143 USD) at online stores like Suppa.
Sneakerheadism and hip-hop is as relevant a cross-over as any other. Right in the middle of it is Wale, the DMV-bred rapper that is known for his bars as he is for his kicks, and Villa finally tracked him down to do a righteous collaboration with ASICS and its most popular retro runner. The three come together for another winner as this gold, black, and blue colorway is inspired by the Intercontinental Championship belt made famous by the pro-wrestling circuit. After the success of last year’s “Bottle Rocket”, the “IC Champion” is a sure bet to fly off the shelves, especially considering the slowdown of ASICS collaboration releases over the last year. Check out an exclusive look at the Wale x Villa x ASICS GEL-Lyte III “IC Champion” below and stay tuned for the drop on July 22nd.
